Description: Learn how to harvest and pickle fresh cucumbers for a zesty and crunchy summer treat! We will use farm fresh garlic, cucumbers and dill from our education gardens to make a take-home jar o’ pickles. BYOJ (Bring your own jar : ) 12 ounces wide mouth preferable.
Participants are limited. Select your time slot and number of tickets below. Educator led activities require all participants to wear masks. Be prepared to be outside for the entirety of the program.

Directions to the Education Barn: Follow GPS directions to the Market at 15 Farm View Drive, New Gloucester, Maine. Continue past the Market on Farm View Drive and take your first left onto Valley Farm Rd. Follow Valley Farm Rd. until you see the Smokehouse Visitors Center (white silo) on the right hand side. Take the right hand turn immediately after the Smokehouse down to the Family Farmyard. The Education Barn is the largest barn on the farmyard.
We ask that all guests above the age of two carry a facial covering with them when visiting Pineland Farms. Facial coverings are required during educator led experiences when social distances cannot be maintained. During most of your on-farm experience, you will not need to wear a facial covering.
