Every gardener in America should be growing mushrooms! If upgrading your garden this year sounds fun, join Louis Giller for an informative presentation. He will cover:

  • Steps for a successful season of outdoor mushroom cultivation
  • Growing techniques, tools and materials needed as well as the appropriate mushroom species to use
  • Best times to prepare, plant, and expect harvests
  • How to keep the garden healthy throughout the season.

North Spore is based out of Westbrook and specializes in fresh mushroom cultivation as well as producing “mushroom spawn” for home growers and mushroom farms.

These classes are a great time to learn and ask all of your mushroom questions!

Participants are limited. Select your time slot and number of tickets below. Educator led activities require all participants to wear masks. Be prepared to be outside for the entirety of the program.
