Description:
See how homemade ice cream is made and explore the dairy barns while our sweet treat mixes. After, we will taste test our delicious creation. Participants are limited. Select your time slot and number of tickets below. Educator led activities require all participants to wear masks. Be prepared to be outside for the entirety of the program.

Directions to the Education Barn: Follow GPS directions to the Market at 15 Farm View Drive, New Gloucester, Maine. Continue past the Market on Farm View Drive and take your first left onto Valley Farm Rd. Follow Valley Farm Rd. until you see the Smokehouse Visitors Center (white silo) on the right hand side. Take the right hand turn immediately after the Smokehouse down to the Family Farmyard. The Education Barn is the largest barn on the farmyard.

Covid-19 Guidelines on the Farm:

  • Please practice social distancing at all times
  • When in general outdoor areas face coverings are not required unless social distancing can’t be met.
  • Educator led activities, inside barns, and educational spaces we will still require all participants to wear masks.
  • Please stay home if you are sick or do not feel well or have been in contact with anyone who is unwell.
