WARNING
Under Maine law, a skier assumes the risk of any injury to person or property resulting from any of the inherent dangers and risks of skiing and may not recover from any ski area operator for any injury resulting from any of the inherent dangers and risks of skiing, including, but not limited to: existing and changing weather conditions; existing and changing snow conditions, such as ice, hardpack, powder, packed powder, corn, crust and slush and cut-up, granular and machine-made snow; surface or subsurface conditions, such as dirt, grass, bare spots, rocks, stumps, trees, forest growth or other natural objects and collisions with such natural objects; lift towers, lights, signs, posts, fences, mazes or enclosures, hydrants, water or air pipes, snowmaking and snow-grooming equipment, marked or lit trail maintenance vehicles and snowmobiles, and other man-made structures or objects; variations in steepness or terrain, whether natural or as a result of slope design, snowmaking or grooming operations, including, but not limited to, freestyle terrain, jumps, roads and catwalks or other terrain modifications; the presence of and collisions with other skiers; and the failure of skiers to ski safely, in control or within their own abilities. 32 M.R.S. § 15217(3) . 

RELEASE AND INDEMNITY:

By purchasing a pass for use of the trails or other recreational facilities (collectively, the “Facilities”) offered by Pineland Farms, Inc. (“Operator”) for snow shoeing(the “Activities”), the below-named Pass Holder(s) voluntarily and unconditionally RELEASE(S) and agree(s) to INDEMNIFY, HOLD HARMLESS, AND, IF REQUESTED BY OPERATOR, DEFEND each of the Releasees (as defined below) from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising, directly or indirectly, out of the use of the Facilities by the Pass Holder(s), including those arising out of any bodily injury (including death, permanent or temporary disability, other injury, sickness, and disease) and/or property damage (collectively, “Claims and/or Liabilities”) suffered or incurred by any Pass Holder, regardless of cause, INCLUDING ANY AND ALL CLAIMS AND/OR LIABILITIES THAT ARISE OUT OF ANY ACTIONS OR OMISSIONS, INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE, of any of the Releasees (as hereafter defined) and the below-named Pass Holder(s) hereby PROMISE(S) NOT TO SUE any of the Releasees with respect to any of such Claims and/or Liabilities. The term “Releasees” means Operator, each and every other person and/or entity that owns, operates, or otherwise makes available any of the Facilities or that provides lessons or instructions for any of the Activities, each sponsor and/or organizer of any competition or other event in which any of the Activities take place, each affiliate of Operator or of any of such other persons or entities, and all of the respective owners, directors, trustees, managers, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents of Operator or of any of such other persons or entities.

    Description: Pineland Farms has 30 kilometers of professional designed and well kept trails. Conditions permitting, trail hours are 8:00 am-5:00 pm daily. Please check our Trail Conditions before visiting and review our Trail Etiquette & Safety. All passes can be purchased in person at the Market located at 15 Farm View Drive, New Gloucester, Maine – (207) 688-4539, online via this product, or by QR code at the trailheads.

    Gear: Please bring your own gear. Guests who need equipment are encouraged to check with local ski shops and nearby outdoor retailers before visiting.
