Description: From tree to table, join us to discover how apples become applesauce! We will learn about different apple varieties, and everyone will get a chance to try their hand at peeling, mashing, and mixing. Along the way, they’ll gain tasty knowledge about cooking and farming while making a delicious fall treat.
Ticket fee includes a self-guided farm pass for all family programs that occur during open farm hours, 9AM-4PM. Your self-guided farm pass must be utilized immediately before or after your program time.

Directions to Education Barn: Follow GPS directions to the Market at 15 Farm View Drive, New Gloucester, Maine. Continue past the Market on Farm View Drive and take your first left onto Valley Farm Rd. Follow Valley Farm Rd. until you see the Smokehouse Visitors Center (white silo) on the right-hand side. Take the right-hand turn immediately after the Smokehouse down to the Family Farmyard. The Education Barn is the largest barn in the farmyard.
